Hello All,

This will be the first 2 woman show for each of us and we are looking forward to sharing our work with you and the community. We are both exhibiting about 30 pieces of work so come out and enjoy our show as well as the art work in the other galleries hosting artists for the Art Walk. There will also be live performances of music, poetry and spoken word and a car show. Our Mason will be performing with the band Eye In I in our gallery space. Our work is hanging in a space that has been generously donated by Francisco Sanchez of Francisco's Halloween Shop that is located on the corner of First and Main Streets in Old Town La Puente.

by Robin Schroeder 21. February 2010 06:22
Despite deep budget cuts, students in the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District are still producing quality artwork in a variety of media! Lisa Ruiz, accomplished artist and studio art teacher at Fairgrove Academy, a parent choice school for the visual and performing arts and technology, in La Puente, California coordinated this years show. It was judged by well-known local watercolorist, Donna Larson. This was an outstanding, well attended show which featured work done by students from Kindergarden through 12th grade.
